Supported by an experienced team an exciting new opportunity is available for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the GV Health Ambulatory Aged Care Program (AACP) team. The team is an established and progressive multi-disciplinary team which includes: Clinical team Leaders, Clinical Care Coordinators, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social work, Team Assistants and Speech Pathology services.
The Physiotherapist will provide person centred care with an opportunity to:
- Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in bed based and home-based settings
- Work with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and mobility
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop goals and care plans to assist clients to get home and active in their local community
- Develop exercise programs for clients. Work with team assistants to implement these programs
- Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions
- Undertake teaching and training opportunities with local health services and service providers
- Participate in student training programs
We are looking for:
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent and eligibility for membership of professional association
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist within acute, subacute or community settings
