Sandringham Ambulatory Care Centre (SACC) operates ambulatory care, urgent care, and a range of primary care services throughout Melbourne's Southeast.
We are seeking motivated and experienced Enrolled Nurse/Medical Receptionists to work at our Frankston Primary Care/Urgent Care Clinic. Must be available to work from 3pm to 10pm on a rotating 7 day roster.
As the Triage Nurse/Receptionist you will be managing the initial assessment of patients identifying their needs and connecting them with services for appropriate care if they don’t fall into our scope of practice.
You will work autonomously, as well as part of a broader highly collaborative team. You will make quick, accurate, and appropriate referral decisions based on your clinical expertise and in accordance with our healthcare governance framework.
Responsibilities of the role includes:
- First point of contact for patients and families
- Support triage at the front desk
- Patient bookings over the phone
- Patient registration
- Compliance with inclusion and exclusion criteria
This position offers a wide variety of tasks so the ability to multi-task and a high attention to detail is essential.
Essential criteria:
- Enrolled Nurse (EN) with current AHPRA registration - APPLICATIONS ONLY ACCEPTED FROM CURRENTLY REGISTERED ENs
- General Practice experience
- Strong focus on administration and concierge
- Experience with Best Practice software
- Triage/Assessment and/or Emergency Experience
- Patient-focused and adaptable
- Team player
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Permanent Australian residents or hold a current, valid working visa
- Current National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
