HYSIOTHERAPIST – New Graduate / 1 st or 2 nd year position. Part time to full time.

OPPORTUNITY
Lake Health Group is seeking an enthusiastic, driven and recently graduated physiotherapist (new graduate / 1st or 2nd year out physiotherapist) to join our large and progressive allied health team in 2024. The position provides the scope to work alongside and learn from highly credentialed practitioners, including Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists. Involvement with multiple sports clubs, research projects, the GLA:D program, studies and partnerships with La Trobe University are but a few of the opportunities available to the successful applicant. We understand being a new graduate in private practice can be daunting and PD opportunities and mentoring are high on your agenda. At Lake Health Group you will be very supported in this critical phase of your career, with senior clinicians around to always help and up to $2000 of co-contribution to PD annually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assessments, education and treatment to individuals / groups based upon their needs
Focus on client centred care and achieving best outcomes for clients
Build and nurture external practice relationships
Build a stable caseload
Uphold the values of the organisation
Participate and contribute to both internal and external professional development
Provide support and assistance with marketing
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of physiotherapy or equivalent
AHPRA registration
National Police Certificate
Current driver’s licence
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Capacity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills
Self-reliance and ability to work independently and innovatively
Ability to align with the Lake Health Group values in all areas of work
Sound clinical reasoning skills
Pilates experience / knowledge useful but not essential
