About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Physiotherapist within the Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Division.

The Physiotherapist is accountable to the Advanced Nurse Unit Manager of the Northern Adelaide Palliative Care Service for the provision, assessment and treatment services for patients of NALHN which aims to optimise health outcomes. In this role you may be required to rotate through a series of clinical services.

Physiotherapists apply clinical experience, increasing clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated services to the needs of clients of NALHN. In this role you will work under limited direct clinical supervision and may provide direction and support to less experienced therapists, allied health assistants and students.

As a Physiotherapist you will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and liaise directly with medical, nursing staff of NALHN and with other community agencies.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
