As a Physiotherapist at Body Lab, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their goals, whether it's rehabilitation, optimising performance, or injury prevention. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment, where you'll have access to state-of-the-art rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and Pilates equipment and a team of high performing, experienced professionals.
Body Lab, Malvern, has a position available with an immediate start for the right team member on either a full-time or part-time basis with a flexible and mutually negotiated timetable.

At Body Lab, we pride ourselves on attention to detail, delivering each client the highest quality of care. We work with a variety of individuals with specific needs, teaching small group, customised Pilates-based exercise classes, and our unique Clinical Strength classes. Our incredible new facility comprises private treatment rooms, a fully equipped, state-of-the-art Pilates studio, and a strength and conditioning gym.
Your Role:
As part of our team, you will be working in our beautiful, brand-new facility in Malvern. Your mentors at Body Lab are extremely well-established APA-titled Sports Physiotherapists looking to expand and add further depth to their existing team. Currently, our physiotherapists are working and traveling with the Australian Diving Team, Australian Sport Climbing Team, Tennis Australia, Australian National Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics teams, the Australian Trampolining team, and athletes from the Victorian Institute of Sport.
Our Clinical Strength and Pilates classes have a maximum of 3 clients and are entirely tailored to the individual. Our physios thrive on using their specialised clinical reasoning skills to directly address specific client needs, promoting a return to pain-free movement, enabling greater performance, and an enhanced lifestyle.
Caseload Includes:
- Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- Sports Physiotherapy
- Small group physiotherapy exercise sessions (both Pilates and Clinical Strength)
- Individual physiotherapy exercise sessions

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience in sports physiotherapy, Pilates, and clinical strength training
- Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescription
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in Pilates instruction (preferred not required)
- Commitment to continuous professional development

Essential Requirements for this role:

- AHPRA Registration
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Current First Aid
- Current working with children check
Preferred Experience for this role:
- Private practice experience in teaching 1:1 and small group (1:3) physiotherapy exercise
- Experience in creating and continually developing individualised exercise programs
- Strength and Conditioning experience
- Pilates Training
- Proficient in the use of clinical reasoning, for appropriate exercise selection and progression
