Our client is offering a full-time locum with flexible length durations, with a preference for 8 weeks or more working over the Christmas holiday period.
For our interstate candidates, our client offers flight reimbursement, and local accommodation near the hospital site. + A $500 MARS Healthcare sign on bonus!
This Regional Hospital takes pride in their diverse and talented Allied Health team, where over 30 dedicated professionals, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work, and Allied Health Assistants, work together to provide exceptional patient care.
As a Locum Physio, you'll play a crucial role in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Your impact goes beyond the hospital walls, as you help individuals and families on their journey to well-being.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
As a registered Physiotherapist you will provide advice and support to individuals in a hospital-based setting. This is a committed and professional multidisciplinary team with ongoing opportunities to further develop your career in Allied Health.
- Clinical Excellence: Deliver client-centered assessment and interventions, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and be the expert when needed.
- Multidisciplinary approach: Work as one, supporting patients achieve outcomes and transition from hospital to home.
- Smooth Transitions: Ensure patients receive seamless care within a clinical environment, working closely with Nurses, Drs and families.
We Are Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and full registration with AHPRA
- Extensive experience with demonstrated knowledge, skills and appropriate experience.
- Extensive experience in acute wards providing physiotherapy to patients within a hospital setting*Acute experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills encompassing excellent communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Satisfactory Working with Children Check (for all areas excluding Residential Services)
- Fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19 (3 doses are mandatory)
- Vaccinated with the 2023 Influenza vaccine.
