Permanent full-time HP4
Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) are seeking a full-time permanent Senior Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal) to join their dynamic team. Located in Townsville, tropical North Queensland, this position will work collaboratively with the Clinical Team Leader Musculoskeletal offering high level operational support to provide the best service delivery.
The position plays a crucial role in upholding the norms of physiotherapy practise and advancing the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy by providing high-quality clinical outpatient musculoskeletal therapy services. For the staff, service managers, and patients of THHS, the role serves as a resource person in the field of musculoskeletal physical therapy.
The role will rotate through the Townsville University Hospital's numerous musculoskeletal services, including (but not limited to): physiotherapy musculoskeletal outpatients; physiotherapy orthopaedic screening services; orthopaedic clinics; virtual fracture clinic; and emergency department.
Generous remuneration package value up to $152775 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $4769.60 to $5132.40 p.f. (HP4)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading.
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Possession of a qualification in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration, or eligibility for current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
