The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist – Senior (Rehabilitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will

• Independently deliver direct advanced level clinical services to a complex caseload in the multi-specialty area of Rehabilitation Physiotherapy
• Apply independent professional judgement to a complex caseload using high level evidence-based principles to assist problem solving and clinical management
• Provide high level clinical advice to physiotherapy staff and students on the assessment and management of rehabilitation clients
• Provide advanced clinical physiotherapy service and contribute to the organisation of outpatient rehabilitation services
• Contribute to clinical research activities within rehabilitation in accordance to organization objectives

About you
To be successful in this position you will require:

• A tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
• AHPRA Registration
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Temporary full time (11 months, with the possibility of extension)
• Base salary ranging from $4 769.60 - $5 132.40 per fortnight
