Following exciting growth plans, we currently have a Picker/Packer position to fill and join our team in Carole Park.
About the role:
The primary responsibility of the Picker/Packer at Breathesafe will be the ongoing support and assistance to the Assembly team throughout the warehouse.
To be considered a suitable Picker/Packer to assist the Assembly team, you must be confident in the below:
- Accurately and efficiently picking parts for the assembly team
- Accurately and efficiently packing kits.
- Assisting the assembly team
- Maintain Production Parts supermarket stock using current Kanban system.
- Responsible for maintaining current 5S standard in the Parts Supermarket and Packing areas.
- Support Lean improvements implementation within the Parts Picking and Packing processes.
- Additional general warehouse duties as required.
BreatheSafe Hours of Work
- 5.30am – 2.45pm Monday to Thursday
- 5.30am – 11.30am Friday
- Every second Friday off (long weekend)
About you:
This position is ideally suited to someone who has warehouse experience with a Picking, packing and/or Assembly. We will require the following of you:
- Manual Drivers Licence (preferred)
- High attention to detail
- Forklift ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Mechanically minded.
- Preferably someone with site experience
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently,
- Great communication skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a quick learner
