Fresh to Go Foods is a national manufacturer of quality, short shelf life fresh foods. As a true National Provider our Manufacturing sites operate in six locations across Australia, ensuring we are positioned to service large national and state based customers.
The Role
Accept products into the pick room and check required products have been made, then picks products according to customer orders and visually checks all products.
Key responsibilities
- Take products from the production area transfer area and check them off against the
required product list for the day. - Record if the correct number of each product have been made and transferred as required.
- Place the trays of products into the appropriate area ready to be picked.
- Advise the Production Manager / Supervisor if any products are short as required.
- When all products have been passed through pick the required products for each customer
order and place them into low care crates. - Visually look at each product as it is picked to ensure it is correct and sealed.
- Inform Warehouse Manager / Supervisor if any issues are spotted with products.
- Assemble each run on dollies in the appropriate area ready to be loaded onto the trucks.
- Pack and label frozen products or products for Thawing as required.
- Ensure Pick Room kept tidy by removing rubbish regularly and sweeping / cleaning as
required. - Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly e.g. cleaning forms, UBD of Thawed
Products.
Knowledge, skills and qualities
Experience working in a food manufacturing facility.
Experience of working effectively in a team environment.
Can do attitude.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
