AddressMeka Recruitment are working with a leading steel company that has a national presence. Due to an increase in work they are looking for a Customer Service/Pick packer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that promotes professional development with their employees.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Preparing customer orders ensuring that the warehouse has the correct list for the customers' orders
- Pick/packing all the small goods to ensure that they are with the metal when they are delivered
- Using the forklift to put away stock and pick stock for the orders
- Printing out all the paperwork for the warehouse staff and delivery drivers
- Ensuring that all customers enquiries are answered in a timely manner
- Complete all required paperwork for the orders
- Assist the office and warehouse with any general duties that may need to be done.
The ideal person will:
- Have a current forklift license with experience in pick/packing and Customer Service
- Be able to priorities the duties for the day based on the customers urgency
- Customer focused as there is a lot of Customer Service involved in this role
- Have a great work ethic with a ‘can do attitude’
- Ability to think on your feet and find a positive solution
- There is a drug and alcohol test for this role so you will need to be able to pass this test
