We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Pilchard Fishing Crew and be part of our vibrant team. For motivated crew members, there's the possibility to transition to our Tuna Harvest crew.
Contribute to the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the vessel through the provision of a broad range of skills and abilities related to the fish catching and fish husbandry processes. This is a casual position with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in setting up and operating fishing gear
- Participating in pilchard catching activities, including netting and sorting
- Adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging weather conditions
- Be available for an immediate start

⭐ Opportunity for Advancement: Tuna Harvest Deckhand ⭐
Tuna Harvest Deckhands play a crucial role in offshore tuna fishing operations.
Deckhand Pre-requisites include:
- Previous experience desired, but not essential.
- Be available for Tuna Harvest operations.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of the ship’s team. Maintain cleanliness of vessel
- Ensure safety of self, vessel, and others
- General maintenance
- Basic net repairing skills
An appropriate remuneration package will be confirmed subject to the skills, experience, and qualifications of the successful applicant.
A pre-employment medical must be undertaken prior to commencement.
