Core Talent are currently working with a world leader within the ground engineering world. They have recently won a large project in the Brisbane CBD and are on the hunt for Piling Rig Operators on a permanent basis.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced BG Piling Rig Operator to operate our clients Piling Rigs on a large project in the CBD. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of geotechnical construction techniques and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate BG Piling Rigs in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Perform pre-operation checks and regular maintenance on equipment.
- Monitor rig performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal operation.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient project progress.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating BG Piling Rigs.
- Valid certification or license for operating Piling Rigs.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in construction or heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with different types of piling techniques and ground conditions.
- First aid and safety training certifications.
