Bruce Rock Engineering (BRE) is a family-owned and operated business born in Bruce Rock, WA. At BRE we're shaping the landscape of road transport equipment in Australia. Here at BRE, we are seeking a pilot to join our team as the chief operator of the company’s private PC-12 NG aircraft. This role requires regular travel throughout Western Australia, as well as intermittent travel across the eastern states of Australia.
The company operates the aircraft approximately 300 hours per year, flying under IFR and often at night. The suitable candidate should be flexible in their approach to facilitate the company’s needs. It is also important that the candidate is able and willing to live in a small wheatbelt community where the company’s main headquarters are located. Permanent accommodation/housing may be provided for the suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the company’s Pilatus PC12 NG aircraft safely and efficiently as per requirements from company directors.
- Manage all aspects of aircraft operations, including maintenance scheduling, cleaning, and hangar maintenance.
- Duties other than flying may be required by directors.
Qualifications
- Australian CPL.
- Instrument rating SEA or MEA.
- Ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 1000 hours total time.
- Minimum 20 hours night total time.
- Current CASA Class 1 or 2 Medical.
Desirable
- Turbine experience.
- Pc 12 or similar experience.
- Experience flying under the IFR.
- Applicable experience beyond aviation.
Relevant training can be provided for the suitable candidate.
