Our client, an Oil & Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Planner - Developments to join them for a 12-month contract.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Planner is the main focal point for all planning activities on the development of CCS development opportunities through the concept, planning, approval, execution and start up phases.
- The Planner is responsible for establishing internal schedules for the individual projects nested within Development based upon internal roadmaps, decision requirements and 3rd Party Contractor/Consultant scopes of work.
- The Planner will also be responsible for updating the schedules with forecast dates, earned progress values and schedule management.
- The Planner will also undertake Schedule Risk Analysis of the Schedules and provide be the focal point of all schedule MOC's reviews and assessment of claims / recovery plans which may be proposed by Contractors.
- Provides project planning and control services in coordination with the Project Services Lead and Development Manager, Project senior staff and relevant stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains the Overall Project Master Plan and milestone & detailed schedules (Level 0, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3). Integrates schedules from LCAD functional teams and Contractor/Consultants all in accordance with the Project Roadmaps, Frames and PEP. Detailed Schedules are maintained in P6 which are then logic linked to Milestones Professional Schedules at Level 0, Level 1 and Level 2 for reporting purposes'
- Performs schedule risk analysis, earned value analysis and schedule delay analysis.
- Develops planning standards and provides input on project control procedures, such as planning & scheduling, progress reporting, progress measurement, etc. in line with MEPAU Business Operating System and approval gate process.
- Reviews and provides input to Contractor/Consultant submitted planning packages, including schedule mechanics analyses.
- Develops and implements plan versus earned progress curves. Reports and analyses monthly deviations from plan. Evaluates allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress. Informs other delivery teams of schedule risk items / potential delays.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Tertiary Qualification, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- 5-10 Years of experience in providing project management services through the lifecycle of a development from concept to delivery.
- Experienced in the use of Primavera/Project, and Milestones Professional with demonstrable experience of linking between the products.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to question inputs from peers and analyse data.
- Able to perform Schedule Risk Analysis with Primavera Risk Analysis or similar software.
