The Planner - Service & Support is responsible to develop, generate and manage all work orders, work packs accordingly to enable our Field Service Mechanics to efficiently execute the required work to schedule.
As Planner - Service & Support, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Plan and schedule vehicle, module and repairable item repairs, maintenance and warranty work at both RDA and various customer sites;
- Monitor work orders and work packs for control and execution of repair, maintenance and warranty work;
- Manage and report on the overall work schedule, requirements and resource plan, facilitating the utilisation management of internal resources;
- Engage internally with our spare parts and procurement teams to ensure parts required, are ordered, tracked and the forecasted schedule aligns with the delivery timings;
- Support the warranty claim and cost recovery processes;
- Maintain and develop excellent internal stakeholder relationships within the service, support and operational teams; and
- Ensure all maintenance data and records are accurate and fully representative of vehicle status, maintenance history and availability.
About your new team
Reporting directly to the Team Leader Planning - Service & Support, you will play a critical role in planning & scheduling all repairs, maintenance and warranty work. This role will be based full time at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence in Redbank.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Practical hands on experience with mechanical aptitude to be able to understand vehicle maintenance and repair processes;
- Experience using illustrated parts catalogues, vehicle BOM's, parts identification and ordering processes;
- Advanced MS Office applications experience including WORD, Excel - Gantt charts, macros & pivot tables;
- A understanding and working experience within Maintenance Management systems (CMMS), SAP, MEXX, JDE or similar;
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
