- Provide timely, expert advice on environment and planning compliance for the projects including obtaining primary approvals, secondary consents, preparation and implementation of management plans, compliance and reporting requirements.
- Lead and manage planning and approval processes including planning scheme amendments, permit applications, environmental referrals and approvals and other approvals as required.
- Manage planning, heritage and environmental consultants as required to assist progression of project issues.
- Perform key actions required under MRPV's compliance management system including provision of high quality, timely and accurate review and advice on relevant environmental documentation for the project including; the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and relevant sub plans.
- Oversee, participate and/or undertake environmental monitoring and compliance programs conducted by MRPV's delivery partner for the project, including site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and approved EPR's, CEMP and with contractual legislative obligations.
You will have demonstrable knowledge of the Victorian planning and approvals process and legislation relevant to the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects. You will have sound knowledge of the administration and legislative aspects of planning and/or environmental management of infrastructure projects and protection of the environment.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include national police checks and misconduct screening. Please be advised it is a requirement of MRPV that all staff attending any MTIA office must be vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses).
