Planning Manager

Your Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Planning Manager will be responsible for but not limited to: 

• Lead planning team ensuring fill rate, inventory levels and supplier DIFOT are managed to set targets.
• Maintain the functionality and integrity of demand forecast and material requirement planning (MRP) systems to manage Purchasing Budgets and Purchase Plan.
• Produce demand forecast in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure forecasts are in-line with growth expectations.
• Measure forecast accuracy, identify trends investigate root cause of errors and take corrective action.
• Inter warehouse inventory management that ensure business objectives are met and execute monthly orders and purchase plans with suppliers.
• Managing key KPI’s relating of Supply and demand planning inclusive of inventory management, supervising staff and allocate tasks.
• Monitor the performance of planned to actual sales and expedite / de-expedite purchase orders where required.
• To manage customer, supplier and third-party providers trading agreements, including creation, review and storage of documents.
• Partner with the warehouse operations team to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient order fulfillment.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

What About You:

• Strong systems focus and background in planning with experience in Pronto ERP and QLIK BI software.
• Extensive communication and leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading a team.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience.
• Be confident managing multiple stakeholders at all levels.
