Strategic planning and health service planning are critical functions of NSW Health Local Health Districts which help to ensure health services meet the needs of populations now and into the future.Supporting a range of work within the Planning Unit, including engaging with stakeholders, using various data and information sources to develop plans and strategic advice for the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). This includes:
- Contributing to strategic, clinical service, operational and facility planning with a focus on health service development.
- Contributing to business planning and reporting on the Northern NSW Local Health District / NSW Ministry of Health Performance Agreement in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Contributing to the development of the Planning Unit’s function advising on the development and delivery of health services.
