Noted for its environmental excellence, pristine waterways, and proximity to the Great Barrier Reef, the Bundaberg Region showcases everything that nature’s palette can create.About The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Planning Team Manager to lead our strategic infrastructure planning program for water and wastewater infrastructure.As the Planning Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing infrastructure strategies, master and detailed infrastructure planning, and providing expert engineering advice on water and wastewater projects. This position requires a dynamic leader who can foster innovative approaches to water planning while maintaining a customer-focused methodology.About You
- Formal tertiary degree qualifications in Engineering fields.
- Experience in development and implementation of infrastructure strategies, planning, and design.
- Proven experience in preparing engineering scopes, detailed project proposals, and business cases for infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in report writing for various audiences, including Council.
- Working knowledge of WSAA (Water and Sewer Codes), Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008, and other relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) certification.
