We are looking for a Controller to work within our Finance team for our plants in Liverpool and Dee Why. Reporting to the CFO Australia and New Zealand. You will be based in Liverpool. It´s a broad role providing the opportunity to understand and “get into” the business.
Key areas of focus and responsibilities:
- Timely update business with accurate financial information and analysis of its underlying performance to support decision making.
- Conduct cost analysis on regular basis to accurately capture manufacturing costs, identify areas of improvement and cost optimisation.
- Ownership of month end closing and business forecasting.
- Adhere to Prysmian Group reporting timetable and provide all required financial data by its due date.
- Lead the month end close process - Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet management and reporting to HQ.
- Monthly Stock reconciliation supervision and minimization of adjustments.
- Coordination of the full year Budgeting process.
- Monthly and quarterly financial forecasting.
- Business partnering with Operations/Supply Chain to drive effective cost control and support decision-making.
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests during half and full year.
- Product costing roll out on monthly/yearly basis.
What you´ll need:
- CPA / CA Qualified
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)
- Experience in working with Manufacturing companies essential
- SAP modules FI, CO, MM (Mandatory)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Business Intelligence Platform
- Self Starter, able to work independently and as apart of a team
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with internal & external stakeholders
- Knowledge and application of accounting ‘best practices’
