Specialist civil engineering contractor who have been working in the SE Queensland transport construction industry for over 30 years. Growing through repeat business and larger project portfolio, they have an opportunity for someone to join the team in a newly created Plant Coordinator position.
The Role
As this is a newly created role there is some flexibility in terms of the hours and responsibilities with the position able to adapt over time for the right person:
- Part time or full time position depending on experience
- Based at office at Brisbane and requiring travel to sites around SE QLD - no WFH
- Use of fleet manager software to ensure that all owned plant is being pre-started, repairs and regular services organised
- Mechanical knowledge of plant and reasonable computer literacy required.
- Option to self perform the servicing of minor plant which is currently outsourced if desired
- Plant management background whether from an on the tools perspective or more admin focused
- Keen interest in being part of a team on a long term basis and adapting as the role develops
- White Card and Drivers License
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Civil Construction or other relevant field will be highly regarded
