SalaryBlue Ribbon Stockfeeds have a permanent positon available, we are currently seeking a Plant Engineer to join our stockfeed manufacturing team in Rockhampton. The position is hands on, and the successful applicant will be responsible for the following roles:
Task & Responsibilities
- Pre-mix preparation and documentation
- Quality sampling and testing
- Day to day running of our stock feed manufacturing plant, robotic packing and auto bagging plant.
- Maintenance of Pellet press, robotic packing and auto bagging plant
- Meeting daily product requirements
- Ordering, receiving and recording of products and ingredients stocktaking and inventory control ·
- OH&S ·
- Management of staff
Qualification & Experience
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following.
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative
- Ability to work unsupervised in a teamwork environment.
- Good leader with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Honest, reliable, dependable and dedicated
- Bachelor in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in the stock feed manufacturing industry and a current forklift licence is essential.
