Join the Civmec TeamDue to continued growth we have an opportunity for a Plant & Equipment Supervisor to join our thriving stores to oversee, coordinate and supervise the maintenance, servicing and compliance of all Civmec plant and equipment.
The RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Provide day to day supervision and management of Plant Yard mechanical staff including work planning, administration, mentoring and staff development.
- Oversee the maintenance of all assets and ensuring correct procedures are followed.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance is conducted to OEM and statutory requirements.
- Ensure all plant and equipment meets legislative and statutory requirements.
- Conduct asset assessments (on-hire, off-hire and annual) as required.
- Ensure that all Civmec owned plant and equipment is fit for purpose at all times.
- Participate and be the SME in Incident investigation and reporting (as required)
- Maintain complete and accurate records of equipment repairs and maintenance at all times.
- Review of Group-wide standards, procedures and supporting documentation as required.
- Provide technical support to business as required.
- Assist in the disposal of damaged/surplus materials and equipment as required.
- Undertake any other duties required to support the business.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Mechanical, automotive or heavy diesel trade essential.
- 3-5 years in a supervisory role in the construction, mining or related industries.
- Sound mechanical knowledge and experience of a wide range of plant and equipment.
- Experience with cranes highly desired.
- Computer literacy across the Microsoft suite at an intermediate level
- Strong people skills is essential.
- Diploma in Management or Cert IV in Front line management will be highly regarded.
