We are seeking an experienced Plant, Fleet& Stores Coordinator to join our team, ensuring a high quality service isdelivered to internal and external stakeholders. This role will provide expertadvice to internal stakeholder groups in the identification, definition andselection of fleet and major plant and will work closely with the Manager ofPlant, Fleet and Buildings to deliver an efficient and effective utilisationfunction to the Organisation.

This position will be responsible for:
- Liaise with internalcustomers and external suppliers to specify, evaluate, and provide plant andequipment through direct purchase and hire to obtain best value.
- Participate in, andfacilitate, the implementation of Council’s fleet transition plans to supportCouncil’s Net Zero Emissions goals.
- Ensure Council’s WorkHealth & Safety (WHS) responsibilities with respect to plant, fleet andequipment purchases and disposal are in accordance with legislativerequirements.
- Coordinate stores warehouseinventory system and functions including stocktaking to ensure stock levels arerelevant to organisational requirements.
- Undertake and report onasset disposal valuations.
- Coordinate hirearrangements for externally owned fleet.
- Collect and analyse dataand report to Manager on stores performance, fleet expenditure,internal/external patterns and trends, and supplier delivery performance.
- Provide maintenance andrepair advice to Council’s Workshop team and external service providers.
- Lead, engage, mentor, and develop the team, ensuring effective personnelmanagement in order to deliver operational works and achieve the best organisational and communityoutcomes.
As thesuccessful applicant, you will:
- Experience in leading andworking effectively in a team and independently.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations.
- Fleet Management Certificate.
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- General Construction Induction Training Card.
