Aboutthe Position
Team Stirlingis seeking a Plant Operator to be responsible for the operation ofall equipment associated within the Parks and SustainabilityBusiness Unit. The Plant Operator will carry out maintenance anddevelopment works as required and undertake horticultural taskssuch as turf preparation, maintenance, landscaping and treepruning.

Our idealcandidate will be suitably qualified with a strong focus on health& safety, good customer service skills and the ability to worksuccessfully as part of a team while managing their own time. Youwill be licensed and capable of operating a Six- Wheeler Tip Truckand a Front-End Loader OR a minimum of three ofthe following items of plant: - Tractor(75 HP) - 1.8 m OutfrontRide on Mower -Tractor/PTO driven ‘Pegasus –5.4m’ (or similar)
In addition,to be considered for this role, you’ll possess the followingskills and/or qualifications:
- Year 10 Certificate.
- Successful completion of ‘Working Safely near Western Power’s operational assets’ course
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Certificate in Basic Worksite Traffic Management
- Certificate in Chainsaw Operation and Maintenance.
- HR Licence is essential
- Loader Certificate
Thispermanent full time position is a Level 5/6 Outside WorkforceAgreement position and attracts a salary range of $68,405 –76,547 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation and fantasticbenefits.
