About the position:
As the Skid Steer Operator you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment and will work as part of a multiskilled team to complete program objectives for the Construction and Maintenance South team.
- There are 2 permanent full-time position based at the Greenmount and Pittsworth.
- The base rate for this position is $1,129.62 gross per week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- In addition to the base wage rate, variable allowances are available (for example - on call, over time, asbestos allowances, wet weather).

About the Construction and Maintenance South Branch:
The Construction and Maintenance South (CMS) Branch forms part of the Infrastructure Services Group (ISG) and is responsible for developing and maintaining community infrastructure including stormwater drainage/culverts, footpath/cycleway and road and bridge infrastructure assets. The CMS Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects, our work directly contributes to improving the lives of local residents. How to be successful in this position:
- Current ‘HR’ Driver’s Licence.
- WHS Certificate of Competency or VOC for ‘LS’ – Skid Steer Loader (>2L engine capacity).
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent.
- Experience in operating related plant, including driving and operating trucks, on construction sites.
