About the Role
The Shire of Esperance is looking for an enthusiastic Plant Operator to join the Town Construction and Maintenance team.
This position operates plant and carries out maintenance and construction duties in relation to Council's infrastructure including, but not limited to, roads, footpaths, drainage and signage. Plant operation includes bobcat, loader and trucks. This position also undertakes minor maintenance on machinery and some labouring.
This position is 85 hours over a nine day fortnight. It is not fly in, fly out.
About You
To be successful and thrive in this role, you will have:
- MR class driver's license
- White Card
- Demonstrated experience in operation of plant items such as bobcat, loader, truck and backhoe.
- Demonstrated experience and ability in construction and/or maintenance activities.
- Ability to work in a team environment

Salary: $76,079.25 per annum including overtime, plus superannuation
