Entry level opportunity with structured learning and on the job experience across Brisbane and the Gold Coast to secure a future career. Gain on the job experience while completing a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining, a nationally recognised qualification.
Our host employer is a small team who work on internal finishes as part of the building construction process, renovations, and restoration work. Be a part of a company that offers excellent service & plastering that serves dual functions of structural reinforcement and design aesthetic.

Pasting layers of plaster onto ceilings and walls, measuring and cutting plasterboard, levelling and smoothing plaster layers, applying finishing coats and adding decorative effects plus much more is what your day-to-day would look like.
What's involved?
During the training contact duration you get to the learn the following:
- Measuring and cutting plasterboard.
- Positioning and securing the panels to the walls and ceiling.
- Pasting coats of plaster, render and cement using trowels
- Covering and smoothing over nail holes and joins, using plaster, sealing compounds and sandpaper
- Applying finishing coats and adding decorative effects.
