About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting new opportunity for a PLM - Operations Lead to join our Hunter Class Line of Business based at Osborne SA.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
You will be responsible for the operations of the Product Design & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities for the Maritime business unit. This role will report to the PLM – Product Lead.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the PLM services within Governance & ChangeManagement frameworks
- Providing Leadership to the Product Lifecycle Management Operations team
- In collaboration with the Product Lead and Delivery Lead, Partner with business stakeholders and the architecture team to ensure the product(s) remain fit for purpose
- Lead Service Delivery to our Maritime customer to exceeds service level expectations
- Work with the team to ensure Service Standards are implemented, incidents, service requests, and problems are effectively managed through to closure
- Partner with stakeholders to plan and deliver activities within agreed schedules
- Lead Operational activities with the team to deliver minor enhancements and ensure services are appropriately patched, upgraded, available, supportable and cyber secure. Working with the Delivery Lead, establish an effective and sustainable service management framework with DevOps principles in mind
- Take Ownership of the product(s), driving continuous improvement, managing licences, managing service renewals, and providing input into financial forecasts
About YOU
- Experience in stakeholder management and service delivery
- Demonstrated experience leading a team, or are actively working toward a leadership role
- Conceptual knowledge of PLM, CAD/CAE/CAM toolsets and integrations
- Experience working in scrum teams and managing a pipeline of work
- Critical thinking to enable decision making and driving continuous improvement
- Defence security clearance, or eligibility to obtain and eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
