You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of processing plant's plumbing systems. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing fixtures and systems crucial to the production processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a vibrant environment within the meat processing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems within the processing plant.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to uphold their continuous operation.
- Address plumbing issues promptly, executing repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with fellow maintenance staff to resolve plumbing-related concerns and maintain facility functionality.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Maintain meticulous records of work performed and materials utilized for maintenance and repair tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a plumber, ideally in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Possession of a valid plumbing license or certification.
- Proficiency in plumbing codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with keen attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Dedication to workplace safety and strict adherence to safety regulations.
