PLUMBING COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Part Time (0.6 FTE)
Circular Head Council is seeking to appoint a part time Plumbing Compliance Officer 3 days per week.
The position assesses and determines plumbing permit applications made and investigate reports of illegal works under the Building Act 2016 as the Plumbing Permit Authority, and undertakes audit of the work, as specified in the Act.
They will provide efficient delivery in the implementation of building and development standards throughout Circular Head for the wellbeing of the community and environment.
You will have:
- A Manual Driver’s License.
- Trade qualifications to be recognised as a licensed plumber or qualifications in a related building science or other relevant field.
- Ability to prepare basic reports and other documentation in a clear, concise manner using appropriate software.
- Demonstrated experience at a technical/inspectorial level including basic understanding of construction project management issues.
