The Plumbing Inspector position at Mackay Regional Council requires ensuring compliance with various laws, regulations, and standards governing plumbing and drainage installations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting assessments, inspections, and searches, testing house drains, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring policy adherence, conducting investigations, providing guidance to applicants, preparing reports and notices, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Applicants should possess relevant qualifications, a strong understanding of regulations, excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Current Queensland Plumbing and Drainers Licence.
- Current "C" Class Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrate previous experience in water supply and sewerage.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary of $82,690 - $90,623 plus applicable allowances. (the level offered will be determined on the successful candidates’ qualifications and experience)
