Plumbing Trade Manager

Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Licensed Plumbing Trade Manager to join our team.

The Role

As a Licensed Plumbing Trade Manager at Refresh Property Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our plumbing operations. This includes managing a team of skilled plumbers, coordinating projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality control, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, while also ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of plumbing technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth operation and effective project coordination.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, building, and plumbing codes and regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory and procurement of plumbing materials and equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

About You

• Licensed plumber authorised to carry out plumbing work, undertake design work, supervise apprentices, supervise other plumbers registered in the classes that you are licensed in and able to sign compliance certificates for work completed. 
• Proven experience in plumbing project management or a similar leadership role in the Plumbing Trade.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Working with Children and Police Checks or willing to get both if you’re the successful applicant.
• White Card required.
