We are looking for either singles or couples that are friendly, committed and hands-on to look after the site, gardens and daily operations of the 18 room motel. This role is perfect for those that are house-proud, seek flexibility, love the simple life and everything this beautiful region has to offer!
Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests have a memorable stay
- Day-to-day Operations: Housekeeping, phone bookings, enquiries and check-ins/outs (note: motel moving to digital check-in)
- Maintenance and Gardening: Ensure that the site is well-presented and in good order
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, manage costs, and inventory
- Community Engagement: Maintain and build relationships with guests and the local community.
You Are:
- A Friendly person and positive problem solver
- A Good multi-tasker with a hands-on approach
- A Great communicator
- House-proud with attention to detail to uphold excellent standards
- Physically able to perform maintenance or gardening
Experience in either of the following industries preferred but not required:
- Hotel/motel management
- Hospitality management
- On-site facilities management or handy-man
- Gardener or farm-hand
- Housekeeping/ cleaning
Offer:
- Full-time role (or two part-time roles for a couple) with variable shifts covering a 7-day week.
- Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses after probation.
- Live-in position with accommodation provided (however role also Suitable for a local who has their own accommodation)
