ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Team is growing, and a position has become available at Mainfreight Newcastle within our PM Operations team, with the focus being on operational excellence. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, drive, work ethic, and resourcefulness to join Mainfreight. The hours are 11:00am to 8:30pm.
DUTIES & RESPONSILIBILITES
- Freight sorting
- Securing and load restraining
- Freight protection and load quality
- Checking freight in and out of the depot
- Preparing linehaul units for loading
- Maintain a clean work environment – housekeeping.
- To maintain high morale within the team
- Ensuring our quality is above standard.
- Loading and unloading PUDS.
- Depot systems - outturning, manifesting, received at dock, delivery load.
- Remeasures.
- Loading country and interstate linehauls.
