Due to continuous growth, we are looking for PMO Team Leader to join our Professional Services Team.
This role will be based in Melbourne (ideally) but open to consider candidates in Sydney or Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all projects are delivered using a ‘best-practice’ Project Delivery Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
- Team Leading blueAPACHE’s 6 Project Managers and managing a number of projects/programmes directly
- Overseeing all client projects, providing expert knowledge and support, monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status
- Delivering to the Head of Professional Services Strategic plan re; the re-development, re-introduction and on-going iteration and maturing of blueAPACHE’s Project Delivery Approach
- Govern the Project Management process ensuring that for each project, all relevant project artefacts are created and utilised, such as risk and issues register, project schedule, status reports, project charter, stakeholder mapping, communications plan, etc.
- Track project benefits realisation and lessons learnt activities to feed into on-going improvements.
- Thought leader with a view to creating a viable PMO service and supporting pragmatic delivery of projects
- Recognised formal project management qualification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30 or equivalent) is desirable
- Developed project/programme management and planning skills and experience
- Experience with resourcing labour in a matrix environment
- Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Professional Consulting Services, or similar organisation
- Thought leader with a view to creating a viable PMO service and supporting pragmatic delivery of projects
- Recognised formal project management qualification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30 or equivalent) is desirable
- Developed project/programme management and planning skills and experience
- Experience with resourcing labour in a matrix environment
