Work on a long-term transformation project and be part of a collaborative team Your new company Hays is currently working with an organisation within the utility domain in WA, and they are seeking a PMO Transformation Lead to join their dynamic transformation office on a 12-month contract. Your new role In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the orchestration of the transformation endeavours, ensuring the strategic portfolio achieves its intended goals. You'll be at the forefront, steering the intricate web of project interdependencies, adeptly navigating through issues, and proactively addressing any emerging challenges or risks to maintain project momentum.
Establish and refine the Transformation governance structure, ensuring robust monitoring and control systems are operational, complete with defined tolerance thresholds and escalation processes.
Craft and enhance standards, processes, and templates to bolster the business's capacity for successful transformation initiatives, potentially including the delivery of targeted training sessions.
Offer your seasoned expertise to Executive Sponsors, Initiative Owners, and Delivery Leads across the entire portfolio lifecycle.
Aid business in crafting compelling business cases for programs and projects, from inception to approval, guaranteeing the punctual production of top-tier documentation.
Formulate and enforce business case estimation and validation protocols, driving the creation and execution of a comprehensive benefit-realization strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
A business-related degree or equivalent educational background.
A robust track record in portfolio and program management, with a focus on overseeing large-scale, multifaceted programs.
Proficiency in developing and implementing portfolio/program management frameworks, complemented by a suite of monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
Exceptional skills in program and project management, coupled with a talent for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
