JOB TITLE: Podiatrist

Riverside Podiatry is seeking a motivated, efficient and capable podiatrist to join our team in a permanent role to join our team as soon as possible. This role is based on the Central Coast across several sites with flexible working conditions and growing opportunities. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with training and support offered by a senior podiatrist.
The ideal candidate would be:
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently registered with AHPRA and holds a Bachelor Degree in Podiatry or equivalent.
- New graduates welcome to apply.
- Efficient, enthusiastic & professional.
- Excellent with verbal and written communication.
- Dedicated to working with latest innovations in evidence based lower limb care and improving clinical practice accordingly.
- Flexible to work over multiple sites on the Central Coast.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Interest in assessment, diagnosis and management of biomechanical cases.
- Competent in the assessment and management of skin and nail conditions of the foot and lower limb.
- Competent with administration tasks associated with podiatry practice including thorough clinical note taking, letter writing and clinical software utilization.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- General foot and nail care; routine nail care, callus, corns, ingrown toenails, plantar warts
- Comprehensive and timely biomechanical assessments, effective/clear diagnosis, patient education and management plans
- High risk diabetic foot care & wound management
- Footwear assessments
- Orthotics
- Nail surgery
