Job Description Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pole and Asset Inspection Supervisor to join Service Stream in our Ausgrid team based in Seven Hills.
About the Role
ServiceStream currently has a permanent fulltime position for an experienced enthusiastic person to join our Pole Inspection team as a supervisor for asset inspections and treatment as part of Ausgrid’s Pole and Line Inspection Contract in the Sydney area. Reporting Line: Project Manager - Ausgrid Overhead Works
Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for
- Conduct equipment checks/ site inspections/ documentation reviews associated with works.
- Coach contract pole inspectors and labourers in the conduct of their duties.
- Assist in the response to any injuries/incidents including making site safe, preserving site until release, assisting with medical review of injured workers, and collecting evidence/statements for reporting purposes.
- Participate in workgroup meetings.
- Meet KPI requirements of field time through the conduct of observations and inspections (Enablon).
- Provide relevant information to client or project reporting as required.
- Conduct In Progress (safety) and post work (quality) audits.
- Liaise with contractors and organise revisits where required.
- Assist with the co-Ordination of stores and conduct monthly stocktakes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Cert II in Asset Inspection
- Chemical Cert IV training
- Annual refresher training.
- Proven experience in a pole inspection supervisor role or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Ausgrid standards and systems
- Strong organisation skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
