About this role
This role sits within the Regulation and Compliance Unit and provides informed guidance and advice to staff from within the Ministry of Health, and from across the NSW Health system, on the management of public interest disclosures and reports of wrongdoing, including statutory reporting obligations.
Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $106,025 - $117,363 plus Super and annual leave loading
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Principal Policy Officer, you’ll conduct the initial review of reports of wrongdoing received by the Ministry, and provide initial advice on the appropriate course of action.
You’ll also support other team members conducting investigations into more complex allegations of serious wrongdoing involving the Ministry of Health or other NSW Health entities, when required.
Building a reputation as a trusted advisor, you’ll provide informed guidance and advice to staff from within the Ministry of Health, and from across the NSW Health system, on the management of public interest disclosures and reports of wrongdoing, including any statutory reporting obligations.
Critical to your success, you will develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, public health organisations and stakeholder representatives, often with diverse needs and viewpoints.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of policy, including the application of relevant legislation, along with demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to manage and review information.
