Hawksworth have partnered with a major Financial to on-board a Portfolio Commercial Manager - This is a 6 month contract with a view to be extended. You can be located in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

The purpose of this role is to manage and grow commercial relationships with Strategic Partners & other IT Outsource Strategic Suppliers (where required) provider portfolio to ensure they maximise the value and opportunities of their investment in key products and service.
Experience:
· Contribute to the strategy for Strategic Partners & IT Strategic Suppliers demand management, providing the ability to forecast demand and utilise capacity specific to suppliers
·Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders
·Ensure creation of governance structures
·Manage commercial matters including rate / cost negotiations, disputes and contracted deliverables
·Resolve supplier disputes that have been escalated or are of a systematic or strategic nature and work the IT Domains to resolve supplier performance and governance issues & coordinate development and tracking of improvement plans, if required
MUST HAVE:
· 5-10 years of experience working with Outsource or Strategic Vendors management with a track record of delivery
· 2-5 years of leadership experience
· Previous experience of IT operations and application ownership in a large organisation
· Proven capability in contributing to the strategic direction of a department
· Experience in leading teams through periods of change
