The Division
The Corporate Service Division contributes to aviation safety by enhancing CASA's capability, capacity and service delivery. We are responsible for:
· human resource functions, including workforce planning
· regulatory and technical training and professional development
· governance oversight and coordination across the organisation
· managing productive working relationships with the Minister’s Office and other government agencies
· information technology services
· business improvement and change management
· Portfolio Management and service delivery transformation program
The Opportunity

The Portfolio Manager is part of the leadership team within the Enterprise Change and Portfolio Management Office. This team supports business areas and the executive leadership team with program and project management and organisational changes. In the role you’ll have opportunity to directly engage with CASA’ Senior Leadership Team, program and project managers, key business partners and impacted stakeholders. You will be able to influence, guide and mentor those delivering programs, projects, and organisational changes across CASA. You will use our assurance framework to provide transparency to CASA’s governance committees, as well as facilitating seminars, workshops, briefing sessions to engage staff across CASAs.
It’s such an exciting time to be part of aviation and play an active role in supporting CASA’s programs and projects and organisational change outcomes. The role is within the Organisational Strategy, Change and Information Management branch, which is responsible for Enterprise Change management, program/project portfolio office, information management, enterprise design office and strategic business planning. With the increase demand on digital solutions and new and emerging technologies shaping our future skies, your work will be varied and rewarding.
The Portfolio Manager works under broad direction and exercises a considerable degree of independence, guiding and supporting the successful delivery of complex organisational changes, including cultural and operational changes through to supporting managers to deliver programs and projects. This role would suit an individual who has either Portfolio Management and or change management experience.
