Portrait Photography Studio Manager

We are looking for a candidate experienced managing/leading a team, would love to run a Photography Studio and has proven ability in a sales role.

We specialize in capturing the beauty of women, couples, and families in a modern, artistic and creative photography style, in a beautiful and modern studio environment where we produce high-end products ready for our clients to display in their homes. 

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, alongside our creative, driven and vibrant team.

The successful applicant will primarily be running the day-to-day operations of the studio, managing team success, be involved in all aspects of creating a Zest customer experience including booking a customer’s photo session over the phone plus designing and selling artwork to be displayed in our client’s home. 

The Role will include: 

• Running day-to-day studio operations.
• Managing and leading team success.
• Creating an uplifting and empowering experience for Zest customers.
• Building relationships, asking deep and meaningful questions, and learning about your customers to understand why they would benefit from a Zest Photography Experience.
• Ongoing telephone calls to maintain relationships and book customers for a portrait session.
• Conducting customer design sale consultations.
• Using management software.
• Helping our customers see themselves differently.
• Achieving daily and weekly sales KPI targets.

To be Successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Management/Leadership role
• Experience as a photographer or in a portrait studio (preferred but not essential)
• Proven experience in sales and growing a business.
• Enthusiasm and high energy to consistently be self-motivated.
• High level of organisational, time management and communication skills.
• To be naturally curious, a great listener and insightful. 
• To work well under pressure.
• A passion for Portrait Photography.
• Driven by personal growth and achieving results.
