Studio Manager & Coaches

About S30 Studio: 

S30 Studio is not your average fitness facility; we're a group weight training studio inspired by Hip Hop & RnB, set in low lights and loud bass. Our mission is to provide an unforgettable experience that ignites the senses and leaves our members feeling motivated, inspired, and part of a vibrant community. 

We are currently looking for a Studio Manager and Coaches to make up our team. 

● Location: S30 Murdoch
● Hours: 38 hours per week (to be split between coaching and business development duties)

Duties & Responsibilities: 

As a Studio Manager at S30 Murdoch your responsibilities will include: 

• Report directly to Group Business Manager and/or owner
• Provide exceptional client service;. 
• Proficiently manage daily studio operations, including lead management, member sales, and CRM usage; 
• Provide leadership and develop team members to ensure competence in job-related tasks and studio activities; 
• Manage operational and staffing aspects to ensure an efficient and profitable studio following S30 policies and procedures. 

Specific tasks include: 

• Lead and manage activities and efforts to develop the member experience and community in the studio;
• Maintain studio readiness, equipment setup, and cleanliness for classes;
• Ensure well-stocked and tidy amenities; 
• Execute local area marketing and lead generation initiatives;
• Manage digital marketing and advertising efforts; 
• Handle lead management and sales retention; 
• Oversee member account management; 
• Manage social media presence;
• Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports; 
• Coordinate with cleaning staff; 
• Schedule DJs for Saturday morning classes; 
• Manage staff rosters and wages; 
• Liaise with bookkeeper as required;
• Manage and maintain all CRM systems; 
• Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met; 
• Regularly maintain and ensure the functionality of studio equipment;
• Enforce the S30 uniform policy among all team members;
• Manage interface with landlord or adjoining tenants. 

Key Performance Indicators: 

Your success will be measured by: 

● Number of leads generated and converted; 

● Growth and retention rates; 

● Attendance and studio revenue; 

● Managing wage costs; 

● Member satisfaction score. 

Requirements of the Job: 

Experience, qualifications, and skills needed: 

● Minimum Cert III in Fitness; 

● Valid First aid and CPR certificates; 

● Fitness industry experience; 

● High energy, 'can do' attitude; 

● Strong work ethic and time management skills; 

● Effective leadership and teamwork; 

● Strong communication skills; 

● Completion of S30 training and Manager Training (provided). 

Experience, qualifications, and skills preferred: 

● Previous business or entrepreneurial experience; 

● Olympic lifting experience; 

● Basic financial understanding; 

● Ability to implement growth-focused strategies.

Your Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
● Guiding and coaching members through our dynamic workouts.
● Conducting engaging class introductions and demonstrations.
● Offering movement progressions and regressions for all fitness levels.
● Educating members on proper movement techniques.
● Cultivating a strong sense of community within the studio.
● Ensuring every member leaves with a memorable experience.
● Assisting with class setup and pack-up.
● Managing member check-ins through MindBody.

Requirements for the Role - To be considered, candidates should meet the following requirements:

● Minimum certification at level 3 in group training.
● Preferred certification at Certificate IV in Personal Training.
● Current first aid and CPR certifications.
