The Centre also operates an extensive suite of research facilities including a towing tank, model test basin, cavitation tunnel, circulating water channel and computing cluster. In 2020, the AMC received Stage 1 funding to develop the Defence and Maritime Innovation Design Precinct (DMIDP).
