THE OPPORTUNITY – SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT
Perspektiv is seeking a new Consultant to join our small but growing Corporate ESG team.
With our strong pipeline of work, the role will support and deliver quality work within our Corporate ESG Service Area, covering ESG Strategy development, Governance, ESG Metrics and target-setting, Materiality assessments, Reporting/Disclosures and supporting the implementation of ESG initiatives including Sustainable Procurement, Modern Slavery, Human Rights and Social Impact to name a few.
WHAT IT WILL INVOLVE
Providing professional support for the planning and execution of sustainability matters to clients. Assisting with the reviews of the client’s sustainability obligations, public disclosures and peer benchmarking. Liaising with stakeholders to achieve desirable outcomes. Coordinating the preparation of internal and external reporting as required. Managing personal productivity.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
We are open to anyone who believes they can offer us value, but we will look favourably upon:
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in environment, sustainability, science, engineering, or other relevant discipline.
- knowledge relevant to best practice sustainability management and reporting.
- knowledge of a broad range of issues such as resource efficiency, sustainable procurement, carbon measurement, climate change and stakeholder engagement.
- Sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse information and data and provide reports relating to the findings.
- Sound ability to plan day to day activities and carry out work autonomously.
- Well-developed ability in using a range of application software packages.
