About the opportunity
This is a team leader role within our delivery frontline operation, leading a small team to prioritise safety, service, and cost.
You’ll also
- Provide high level advice and support coordination to assist the Delivery Manager and facility staff
- Drive performance and process improvement initiatives
- Assist in the Implementation and monitoring of all facets of Australia Post’s Diversity and OH&S Policies and Procedures
- Assist with the processing and delivery of letters and parcels as needed
- Coach and where needed conduct performance conversations
Shift times are 5:00am - 12:51pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary of $66,936 + penalties + 12% super.
About you
We're looking for someone with leadership experience, preferably from Delivery, Transport or Warehousing. Someone motivated and able to bring the best out of people under their leadership.
You’ll also need
- Strong leadership and team building experience
- Experience in coaching and mentoring co-workers
- Strong customer service focus involving direct contact with customers
- Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
- Proven experience of prioritising, planning and scheduling.
- Ability to be flexible during periods of change
