AddressA Major Bank in Sydney is seeking a PostgreSQL Cloud (AWS) DBA for a long term contract opportunity.
As a PostgreSQL Cloud DBA, you will play a pivotal role in migrating Document-as-a-Service platform to AWS cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database solutions to support our Document-as-a-Service platform.
- Lead the migration to AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Utilize tools such as GoldenGate for data replication and synchronization.
- Automate deployment and configuration management using tools like Ansible or similar.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub for database changes.
Key Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator in a cloud environment, with specific experience on AWS.
- Solid understanding of database design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems and scripting languages like Python.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible for infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, including GitHub.
- Large entreprise experience
