Purpose
We are seeking an individual with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail to lead our compact team. The role would involve supervising production processes, guaranteeing efficient work performance, establishing quality control checks, and managing inventory among other tasks.

Key Accountabilities
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for operations within the area.
- Ensure the team understands and supports the role of the Powder Coating Department
- Directly leads a team of employees on the powder line.
- Responsibilities include training employees, conduct performance evaluations, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Support production through timely delivery of Jobs in the assembly department general assembly area. (Excluding JIT lines)
- Prioritize and Responsible for the coordination of General Assembly department requirements to meet production delivery schedules, except for JIT lines.
- Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, including adjusting line speed and oven temperature based on part requirements. Ability to read drawings, powder technical data sheets (TDS), and work instructions for quality checks and packaging.
- Inspects Wash line for any issues, performs and records daily chemical mixtures as required.
- Alerts supervisor for any materials, chemicals or powder that is needed to be ordered.
- Assists operators with daily duties such as loading, unloading and Powder Coating.
- Maintains charts for daily quality checks, first and last pcs, mil thickness, gloss checks and scrap/rework.
- Updates operator instructions through the continuous improvement process with the assistance of quality.
- Report, record & assist to resolve any potential or existing issues in production
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds a Trade Certificate applicable to their position (or relative experience)
- Three to five years related experience and/or training in Powder Coating operations.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems
